Board of Directors - Vacancy
The Board of Directors at Islamic School of Canberra invites interested ACT community members to apply for Board Membership.
We are a co-educational K-7 islamic school located in Weston on a 15-acre campus. We have a school population of 215 which is increasing. Over the next few years it is planned to grow our enrolments through the introducing of further secondary year levels. This is an exciting period for our school and will be an extremely rewarding opportunity for the right applicant.
It is preferred, but not required, that applicants:

Possess Chartered Practising Accountants (CPA) or Professional accounting qualifications.

Demonstrate a high level of communication, organisational, problem solving and strategic planning skills.

Have capacity to provide relevant policy background in accounting and financial issues within the context of a school's operational agenda.
You will be joining a highly professional and passionate Board who values the Islamic culture and the education of young Muslim boys and girls.
